Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter – How to Improve Performance and Reduce/Fix Lag

July 30, 2019 posted by

It’s time to experience a fantastic adventure
with unique gameplay that blends investigation, action and exploration in a breath-taking
thriller that will test the limits of your nerves and intelligence, and all that on 10
frames per second on your PC. Yeah, kind of. What if I told you that there’s something,
something you can do.. that will.. ummm.. allow you to enjoy this game even on low end
hardware? As you already saw in the demonstration video,
yes. There’s a way to improve performance in Sherlock
Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter, only with Low Specs Experience. What is that you might ask. It’s a free tool developed by me and a few
other folks designed to help you manage and optimize your favorite video games for maximum
performance. Sounds like a dream, right? It isn’t. So without any further ado let’s see how to
do it then. First of all what you need to do is to download
Low Specs Experience from my website, after that install it. Once you get this shortcut on your Desktop
simply start it and go through these startup menus, now press Optimize. Type in Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter
or select it manually from the drop-down menu, after that press load optimization. This 7Zip installation file will load, press
browse and select the destination where your game has been installed. This is the destination where my game has
been isntalled, now simply press extract. After you extracted the files go to game folder
and start ragnotech control panel. This window will pop-up. Now simply select the method of optimization
you want, I’ll select ultra low one because I’m getting like 10FPS on this GPU and I want
at least 30FPS to make the game playable. Note that on lower resolutions you will get
even more FPS, so just in case, keep that in mind. After you decided which method of optimization
and resolution you want, simply press optimize and start your game. Yes, as easy as it gets. Now I’m leaving you with what’s left of this
gameplay video, using the ultra low optimization method, because you won’t see the game anywhere
being played on these graphics settings below minimum. Please do like and subscribe if you found
this useful, dislike the video if you feel the complete opposite, and I’ll catch you
guys in the next one, this has been Ragnos.. signing off..
