#MyMassArt: Izzy Liberti '19 BFA Animation and Printmaking

I came here interested in doing things
that nobody else is doing. I value that because I think what I'm trying to do is
strange. I'm a dual major in printmaking and animation. Nowadays, animation feels really digital – like it lost the hand almost. I'm really interested in
capturing that hand that printmaking has within it, and implementing it in a
moving image. I really value being able to talk to an
animation professor about the more narrative point of view, then take that
same project and go to printmaking and ask for feedback there, where the
conversation revolves more around the more tangible aspects of what I'm doing.
I just wanted to completely entrench myself in a culture of artistic process. MassArt has really satisfied that for
me.
