Metal hammer can be used in this craft?
You mentioned several ukiyo-e shops which once made quality work but have descended into mediocrity since the death of their founder. I was curious which workshops/craftspeople currently working do you feel are achieving greatness? I've purchased a couple of your prints, and like the idea of supporting the continued health of the art form by buying new prints, but I don't know where else I should be looking.
Why do you use a diamond stone and not a Japanese whetstone?
"featuring a lady and an octopus. Now dont worry, this video is G for general audiences" XD
Clip your nails!

Where can someone buy some of David Bull's work?I am going to Japan next year but I'm afraid my friends won't be interested in this stuff enough to actually attend an event with me.
Ive just started woodblock printing, your videos are the best to listen to in the back round as I work. Such a great mentor, trying to not be so lazy and sloppy haha

Hi David,Watched many hours of your wonderful carving, thankyou😀I just wondered if you could tell me what liquid you are putting on the paper with the wide brush- I thought it was water but sounds like it may be a paste of some sort? Many thanksJulie
I'm here for the Kool aid
Wow….I must hand it to you sir, you are quite the patient craftsman.
If it doesn't work, hit it with a hammer, if that doesn't work, use more hammer.
Such a perfect timing. I was watching this video on my tv, by streaming it from my laptop via youtube, and at the very same time as the trailer went static in your stream highlight, my bluetooth connection died and the tv went black. It was such great timing, I couldn't help but laugh.

Looked up the full image of the octopus print… I now know where tentacle hentai came from.
You are an absolute delight, sir.
David, maybe unrelated question. Butt are you by chance any good with a paint brush or a pencil? you have great desipline and have qenuine control with your tools.
If so I would be greatly interested in you possibly showing some work if you have the spare time.
I keep hearing this term 'print partying(?)'. Am I hearing that right and what does it mean?
I must tell you that I enjoy you! Wish I could be there in person.
